How to recover a pin with no data or wifi on LG Realm?

My son has a LG Realm phone. We don't have it activated, it is more for the apps, music and books. A passcode has been put on the phone and he dosen't know what it is. He does not have his wifi turn on. How can I reset his passcode when he has no data or wifi? I have the option to recover the passcode once I am able to get on wifi through his google account? Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. Have you considered taking it into your carrier store? They might have a way to bypass it.

It is a Boost Non-Contract phone. I never activated the phone.
