Android Central Question
I didn't know until today that this is in settings: "Delete the oldest message when the maximum number of text (1000) messages has been exceeded"
Today when I found that in settings- I clicked on the button and I turned that off.
I lost some of my old messages because of this. Is there a way to recover my deleted messages?
Thunderstorm00 wrote this about this same issue: "This sucks! Why don't they tell us these things in advance or leave it set by default to NOT DELETE old messages by default!! I really need to get to an old text! Is there anyway to get it back please????" I have the same problem as Thunderstorm00 . : /
The phone is Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge by the way. I got a new phone last month and I wanted to check my old phone (Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge) for important old messages.
