How to Recover Deleted Photos Albums on Note 4

My photos disappeared after my sleepy eyes read half of a message that said on't worry, you're photos aren't gone". I didn't get to see the rest of the message. A notification chime woke me up. Since last Saturday I have only seen them once briefly when I was in my Google + app looking for a scanned photo. Much to my surprise they were all there. I thought Google had finally put them back so I closed the app. Now I can't find them. The phone says there's nothing on the card and my laptop says it can't access it to do a chkdsk. This sounds like what you experienced. Did you run the file explorer while the micro card was in your phone or on your computer?

I don't know how it happened. =( but all my pictures were gone.

fyi, when I installed ES File Explorer File Manager, when I hit "unlock hidden files" I couldn't do it unless I downloaded a game. That's offensive (to me); going to Plan D... I lost some movies along the way and am looking EVERYWHERE for them, so thank you for this thread.

The method you said is odd, I think it didn't take effect to reocver deleted photos in most case. But make a cloud backup will be big a bag help when you regret deleting some important data.
