How to remove accuweather from clock on homescreen 6.0.1

Just upgraded to SamsungA5 2017. Want to remove weather from the clock on the home screen as it takes up space and I have a preferred weather app. Marshmallow lock screen menu is not the same as previous and does no longer allows removal of the weather under "additional information".

Tap on it and hold... look for the garbage can up top.

Drag it up toward the garbage can BUT do not let go until it appears red on some portion of what you're trying to delete.
