How to Remove and Unroot LG Optimus V

My brother has the lg optimus v with aosp cm7 i think and he wants to remove it because his phone is freezing. If you could tell me ways he could boost his performance and also tell me how to unroot and uninstall these roms idk if he has a backup we installed the rom with rom manager dont know if it backs up automatically i will check and post again.

Check the LG Optimus forum -- you'll find methods to unroot the device and return to stock. Before doing so I would suggest a factory reset and wipe the dalvik cache in recovery. This might solve the problem before having to unroot. Also check the Optimus development forum for ways to increase performance.
