How to remove Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tablet backing?

So my screen on my note has gone black, and I have searched forums and there have been posts saying that there are plenty of videos and such that explain how to remove the backing so that I can fix it. How can I remove it without breaking it? They also say credit cards help, but how? Thanks a lot!

Does it not have warranty coverage? I'd almost certainly prefer that route over trying to open it up and voiding any remaining warranty.
