How to remove Nexus 4 update from the slide bar???

My phone is rooted and has a stock ROM on it. The phone just downloaded 4.2.2 but I dont want to install it just in case it messes things up.

Now how do I remove it from the slidedown bar? It keeps popping up to install and its mad annoying

Just install it. Preserve root using OTA Rootkeeper or re-root after the update following my guide. It shouldn't screw anything up.

Go to settings/ apps/ all tab. Scroll down to Google services framework and unchecked show notifications.
