How to remove specific apps from android pie suggested apps

Ever since updating to Pie I've enjoyed the new suggested app feature in the recent view, but have had the problem of not being suggested apps I use commonly. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove specific apps from the suggested bar without removing the while bar?

Actually I forgot about this. I remember, now that you've mentioned it, reading about this and how hated it was going to be but I just got my S10+ and I don't seem to have it... Not sure I would want it but I would at least take a look at it before doing away with it if I knew where it was. I'm also not going to start a thread to find out so maybe whom ever answers or looks at your question will have some insight for one or both of us.

Recents shows the apps you've used recently, it doesn't suggest apps. Maybe your specific phone does. If so, register an account here, tell us what phone it is, and one of us will move this thread to that phone's forum, so more people with the phone will see your question.
