How to remove uninstalled apps in drawer with Nova Launcher?

I've deleted a few apps but they still appear in the drawer. They do not appear in Nova settings>drawer>drawer groups.

You should be able to Tap, Hold and Drag them up into the desktop field. Then you can Tap and choose Uninstall or Remove.

Tried that first but it didn't work. I now remember that used to work but my SD card stopped working a few days ago and since then the phone has been a little bit off. Is there any other way to remove it?

Reboot and they will be gone

Okay I figured it out. I locked the desktop to prevent changes that was why nothing happened when I tried to hold and drag in the drawer. So for anyone in the future, unclick the lock desktop in Nova settings and you're good to go.
