How to reset default download location for online photos.

I accidentally selected “do always” when selecting download location when I long pressed on an online photo to save and now when I save a photo they do not appear in the “gallery” and I can’t figure out how to change the location to “downloads” or wherever I need to set it to in order for them to appear in the “gallery”. My device is a Samsung Note 8. Thank you.

How to change/reset default location to save an online photo?

Accidentally selected “do always” and selected whatever the other option was when saving photo from online and now photos do not appear in “gallery” and can’t figure out how to reset or change location. I think the other option that showed was “downloads”. So frustrating. Thank you.

What app were you using when selecting the option? Hold down your finger on the icon and select "info" from the menu. When the properties for the all come up, select "defaults" and remove the settings there. You can reach the same properties for all the apps in settings/apps

Sorry, but there is no "defaults" under the app settings. I followed your instructions. I believe it was Chrome as that's the only browser app installed. Any other thoughts?

Think i got it. Chrome, app info., storage, manage storage, clear all data. This reset everything and i was able to select "downloads" as location to save next time i opened app. Thank you.

Chrome. Think i got it. Chrome, app info., storage, manage storage, clear all data. This reset everything and i was able to select "downloads" as location to save next time i opened app. Thank you.
