How to retain creation date/time on files transferred to my phone?

I have recently gone from one Android phone (HTC) to another (Moto X Play) and now I cannot copy files from my computer to the phone, without my Phone giving them a new Creation Date/Time. I rely on the files being in the special Creation Date/Time sequence I have arranged for them to be in, for a particular App I use, and now they are re is a completely random order, not even filename order, which would have sufficed because my filenames (like most photos) are numbered, so I still know what sequence they in.

I know I could get around it by moving the files one at a time in the sequence I want, but I have on average some 50 odd files in each of 20+ folders, so be blowed if I'm gonna transfer 1,000 files one at a time.

I did some research and discovered this problem had been around ever since Android moved away from the FAT file system to something called Fuse, and developers and the like have been begging for it to be changed and have been ignored.

I generally avoid upgrades to all phones and Apps (and PCs too), because inevitably it stuffs up something I have gotten used to, or changes things I really liked to things I really hate, but I decided to allow my Phone to be upgraded to 6.0 (Marshmallow), in the hope that this problem would be fixed, but NO problem still there.

Furthermore when I look at the Files (All png files) on Windows Explorer it seems to think they are tracks on a CD or something and I just want them to be seen as files.

My HTC phone had neither of this issues, so I assume they were really smart and realised what really dumb idea of Google's this is, and have obviously put their own Patch into their version of the Android system, so it doesn't happen on their phones.

I like lots of things about my new phone, but I am wishing I had stuck with HTC now.

Any chance Motorola (like HTC did), or even better, Google, ever fixing this problem?

Anyone know of a free App I could use to transfer the files in a folder one by one in whatever sequence they are sorted in on my Windows Desktop, so that even though they get a new creation/date time on the phone at least those times will be in the correct sequence? Then I could use my App on my Moto X Play, whereas as it stands I now have to run the App on my old HTC phone and then transfer its output to my new Moto X Play phone.

Have you tried uploading all the photos to Google Photos? I would think if you did that they would stay in the order you want. Then you could just view them on the app in your phone. They will be stored in the cloud and not on your phone but you will be able to access them from the app.
