how to root using ls670zvd

hey guys i have recently been on the old thunderom 1.6.2 using the old software i just updated to the new software using the lg updater tool and lost my root it seems and then i booted into recovery and i noticed that my custom recovery is still there, wondering if i would be safte to flash a new radio rom or i need to re-root and how do i do that?? thanks guys hope i can get a awnser soon

That is the rooting thread for VD. Then flash a new VD based ROM. When you put the new VD software on your phone, it updated your radio baseband and removed root. You will need to reroot before flashing a new ROM.

Hey glad you got the lg updater to work. Now all you have to do is flash reborn Rom and you should have your root back.

Edit. There is no need to reroot. Flashing reborn will do it for you.
