How to rooted galaxy s4 from lollipop 5.0.1 to the new 5.1.1 ?

Hi All,

I got a Galaxy s4 GT-19505 that I updated to 5.0.1 and rooted, I think there's another update to 5.1.1 that got released but not sure how to go about updating since the phone says because it was modified it will not automatically update for me.

I would like to update my phone but not lose my data and setting. If you can guide me through the process it would be highly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central!

You can try going in to your SuperSU app and unroot your device. After that you can try doing the update again.
