Hi. I'm looking for some advice on how best to erase all the data on my s6e before selling it on (just upgraded to a s7). The phone is already encrypted and I have managed to go into my google account and remove its access to my account but I'm not too sure how to erase the data that is currently on the phone.

Will a standard factory reset do the trick ? Last thing I want is someone accessing my data further down the line!

Once you remove all the accounts from the phone, Google, Samsung, etc. If you do a factory reset, that will wipe everything in the userdata partition... all your apps, settings as well as whatever is on the internal storage.

You could go all medieval on it and track down whatever methods there are to reflash the full factory image on the phone (which wipes everything, including the system partition, which you don't really write to)...But a factory data reset should suffice.

Thanks for the reply. That sounds simple enough so shouldn't have too much difficulty doing that. Cheers
