How to select default calling app?

Using a LG G5 with Nougat and the updated google voice. I used google voice once after the new update, and now every time I make a call the dialer will pop up a choose carrier or google voice prompt. How can a set the default calling to go to my carrier and not give me this prompt?

Doesn't it have a check box on the prompt that says "Make default" ? If so, check that FIRST, then select the app you want to use.

No such choice.....but I ended up stopping the app in the app manager then cleared defaults there and now it seems to be ok. Not sure if this will happen again if i use Gvoice for a wifi call in the future?
