How to sell a used Droid?

All,

I ported my number from my Droid's Verizon contract to Sprint - unfortunately, I have to get a BlackBerry for my job - and a girl friend wants to buy my Droid. I erased the SD card content and did a "Factory Reset" after the number was ported, so does that mean my friend can go to Verizon and start her own plan with my used Droid without any problems? Just want to cover all the bases and make sure the process goes smoothly for her. Thanks for the feedback!

ya,u are gonna want to go with them, if u want this hassle free. they wont activate it unless u are with them. too many stolen phones floating around.

It will be fine, as long as you haven't reported the phone stolen it'll be fine. All your friend had to do is just go and activate the phone. I just gave my dad my old dare phone. It takes like ten minutes and they will be on their way!

I sold a VZ smartphone on eBay. All the buyer did was call them to activate it. VZ then called me to confirm it wasn't lost or stolen. All good after that.
