How to set up Groove Ip?

How do i set up groove ip to work? I keep trying to make a call and it just says try again. Its on my gmail account and using the same number as my phone

You have to use Google Voice and forward it to chat. Use Google voice number.

I'm not sure on your phone. But if you sign into voice on your computer, look in the top right corner for the phone number and click on it. The page that opens has the chat option below your phone. Don't select forward to phone. Just select chat.

Take a look at our faq snrb Labs - FAQ It has steps to solve the "Please try again" problem. Basically you need to make a call from a pc using the gmail calling feature.

how did you get it set up? i'm in the same situation as you with that pic. I couldn't find the options to forward to chat.

in gmail, you have to go over to your chat list, then click "call phone" and place a call to any phone.

If you don't have the chat list then you need to enable chat in gmail (I disabled it before because I never used it, but since groove ip uses it I re-enabled it).

Then go back to google voice and select to forward it to google chat

Is the username you are using a gmail or apps.google.com username?
