How to setup NookColor outside USA for the 1st Time?

Hi, I just bought a Nookcolor. I traveled a lot. I'd like to setup my Nookcolor for the 1st time but I must be in USA to to set it up.

How can I sep up my Nookcolor for the 1st time to be able to use it when I am not in USA? (I mean read and buy books, magazines, watching videos and listen to music).

You don't need to be in the US to set it up. I set up mine while in Canada and everything worked fine.

If you're from a different country besides the US and Canada, content purchasing from Barnes & Noble will not work from what I understand.
