How to share books on my tab with another Samsung tablet ( Tab E)

Reposting since subscribing. I want to transfer some books from my tablet to my son's. Can't use Smart Switch since books don't show up. Tried connecting the other tablet to my PC and putting a book in the Kindle app, it showed in Explorer, but not in the tablet itself.
How do you do this? It seems too difficult for such a simple action!

Welcome to Android Central! Are these Kindle books? Are these books you own or have borrowed from a library?

The ability to share purchased or borrowed media between two different devices with different accounts will vary with the media service. Some may have the ability to, but others may not let you, because they may be concerned about piracy or loss of revenue. One way around this is for you to log into your own account on your son's device, but obviously, that's not always the preferred course of action for everyone.

Yes, they are Kindle books and they are my own. I still don't understand why sharing between two tablets is so obscure.
Since I have sent a book to my son's PC, could you tell me how he should transfer it to his tablet - and into which folder?
