how to silent your phone with lollipop

I have asked this before, but no luck so here we go again. I have a moto 360 & moto x 14 running lollipop. with KitKat my phone wud not make a sound or vibe, but with lollipop I can't do it. no matter what i do with priority setting I can't make my phone silent and just the watch vibe. Does anyone know how? will it be possible with 5.1?

I have the same problem! It is really annoying after my phone upgraded to lollipop! Any solution?
