If your phone is under warranty, get it replaced. Then sell it and get a V20 or V30.

Sorry. This has been a very common problem. Happened to me, my brother and my friends. You can't fix it.

There is no root cause/ corrective action or preventive solution... at least none that LG has publicized.
My solution has been Verizon extra insurance. My boot was 4 months ago. Verizon sent a replacement phone within 24 hours, no questions asked. Once I tell them "boot loop" they take care of it. The phone they sent worked fine, but it had a scratch/blemish on the camera lens. Another phone call and another 24 hours later and they express shipped me another phone. This one was good and its the one I have been using for the past 4 months. So I had a total of 2 replacement phones in my possession and just picked the best one. They provided UPS return labels, boxes and everything.

Not a perfect scenario, but I am good with it. What I am not sure about is whether or not the replacement has any kind of corrective solution... AFIAK it could re-boot-loop at any moment.

LG will repair it for free. Just go to their website and start a repair order. Send it in and they will repair and ship it back to you for free. Did that with mine and have had no issues at all since. Better battery life and no more overheating. Like a new phone.

LG will likely send you a refurbished V10. That's what they did with my G4. However, my G4 was international and LG said they couldn't repair it or they didn't want to repair it. The refurbished G4 was garbage, Bluetooth issues, camera flash was dim. Finally replaced it with a used V20.

I sent mine in for repair. They fixed and returned it to me. LG has been fixing these for free. They replace the mainboard on them. Carriers are more apt to sent a refurbished model. Maybe it is because it was an international model so they didn't want to mess with it? As far as I know they are still fixing them at no cost.

Can you give me a website or number to contact LG Repair Center?

Around 2 weeks. It was a pretty fast turnaround considering shipping time.

Mine bootlooped over 2 years ago. After about 6 months of usage.
Stayed in the drawer all time.

Sent it to LG and they sent it back with a replaced motherboard. It works now. Nothing weird.
