I love Dolphin web browser but I HATE a few things about it.

It's the only web browser where when I'm typing a web address, I get a space after I place in a dot/period/. automatically. For instance, "amazon. com". I know this can be disabled through my keyboard app but, point is, my keyboard app doesn't do this in any other browser's address bar.

Welcome to the forums as a new member. I used Dolphin for quite a while and don't remember having that problem. As you say, the . space is a setting in the keyboard. Most keyboards I've seen will go into a different mode when they detect an http address box. Might look at a different kb.

I'm using Swiftkey for my keyboard. I've been using it for a long time now and haven't had this issue with any other browser - Chrome, Opera, Silk, or Desktop Web Browser. These other browser don't have the issue with Swiftkey.

Been trying to solve this myself. I first thought SwiftKey was the cause but I tested Cheetah keyboard and the same problem occurred (auto-spacing in the address bar)

So I thought it must be Dolphin because as you stated, it doesn't do it when you type in other browsers.
Then I thought to simply try the built-in Samsung keyboard, and it works. i.e. no auto-space in Dolphin Browser address bar.

So it would seem that the problem lies with the keyboard apps after all! Odd though that two app SwiftKey and Cheetah cause this issue, and only in Dolphin.

Personally I just wish there was a setting in SwiftKey to disable auto-spacing.
