How to stop e-mails pushing to exchange account?

I have my account all set up and it is working nicely. I have both peak and off peak set to push and i have the sync button selected off but e-mails still push.

Is there a way to keep it off?

I usually like to turn the sync on in the morning and off when I get home.

Try setting it to manual instead of push. That’s how I have mine set up and I don’t get notifications but the email refreshes when I open the app.
