How to switch between apps in runtime?

Dear Friends,

I am a Android 2.3 user on Samsung Galaxy Y Phone. I would like to know how to switch apps between each other in runtime ? [something like alt+tab in windows]..

Please help.

I use the "active applications" widget on my home screen on my SGS2 Skyrocket. That allows toggling among active apps.

Just long press your home button and it should pop up the task manager with the last 6 apps used.

I just wanted to answer the same identical thing but than I thought it was obvious, maybe he already know such a thing.. but.. mm.. maybe not!!

anyway you could bring last apps till 15, if you want..
for me it's the best solution, so i don't need another app that will suck ram and waste battery. imo..
