I bought a pair of galaxy buds about a year ago they were used because I was on a budget. I was using them for quite some time but a few months back my right ear bud began to lose sound btw I have hearing loss in my right ear but I know this isn't the issue as I have tested this by using the right earbud on my left ear (which is completely fine) and its the same.

So the first solution i found was to clean the earbud by using 70% alcohol and cotton bud I found this solution online i tried it, didn't work and then after i did that the earbud stopped working completely.

By that time I already had my eye on a right earbud i found on eBay as a contingency plan if the alcohol fix didn't work. So I bought the right earbud and it was in perfect working condition. So then I looked up how to sync 2 different galaxy buds together and there weren't many solutions and there was this one solution i found and a lot of ppl reacted positively to this however i did not understand completely the instructions the person gave, so i couldn't do the fix. On the same forum I saw that only Samsung can sync 2 different galaxy buds so sending these to a Samsung support center would be a good idea. However i want to see if there is another solution which doesn't require going to Samsung. If there isn't I'll gladly go to Samsung if the price is reasonable.

So here I am on Android Central asking if there is a way to sync/connect 2 different galaxy buds together to show up as one unit. Please can you help me as I'm very frustrated this has happened. Any help will be heavily appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know if this will work after so long, I've known it to work if the problem just started or is only a few days old, I warn you that this may be borderline nasty to some, but you need to suck on the ear bud. Your ears are constantly seeping and that seepage creeps into the ear bud especially if you are an everyday user. The act of putting the bud in and out pushes this seepage into the sizing component of the ear bud and the pressure from the seal it makes is enough to push it behind the mesh guarding the ear bud speaker. Cleaning it with IPA is not really a good solution as IPA doesn't dissolve this build up and rubbing a cotton swab over the mesh only serves to push it in farther. Remove the sizing bop and gently suck the seepage out of the mesh. Do not suck forcefully as this could damage the speaker membrane and do not blow into the ear bud as this will only serve to drive the buildup deeper into the ear bud and then it could make contact with the speaker membrane and that contact would dampen the sound further.

You could try this as is and see what your result is but with this condition having existed for so long I fear that the buildup has dehydrated making it less pliable. This is really the best solution when it's only been a day or two. However since this build up is akin to wax warming it may bring it to a partially fluid state. Try wearing the bud for an hour or so and allow your body temp to warm it up and your "natural juices", so to speak, rehydrate the buildup and try it then.

As for your request to know how to pair two different buds to each other... There probably isn't a way for a consumer to do that.

If you're feeling really confident in your skills you may be able to clean it from the inside. Here's a how-to video for disassembling the buds... https://youtu.be/Mg6OpvMzguY

Yh forgot to mention i tried the sucking thing but this at first worked great however later on the sound would go back to normal and I would do repeat the sucking technique many times however this solution has ceased to work unfortunately. So I just want to know how to sync 2 different galaxy buds together.

The only other thing I can think of would be to change the internal workings of the two. So watching the video it looks like the speakers are just plugged into the circuit and drivers inside the bud. They never remove the speakers. So it looks like the bud could be split in half and the lower portion that contains, either a dirty screen covering or possibly damaged speaker, from the repeated cleanings, could be removed and swapped with the good one. It's just one plug. I think this video may show it better...

Pause it at 00:02 to see the components all laid out and you can see the cable and it's plug clearly sticking out of the lower portion of the bud.

Fast forward and pause again at 00:42 and you can see how the bud opens up to that cable making the swap seem very simple to accomplish.

At 00:46 it shows how that cable can be removed and since the top portion contains all of the circuitry and battery one would simply be replacing the speakers and grill.

Otherwise you can try a ubreakifix location. They might even use your parts but they seem a bit pricy to me.

"What I did was reset both. Placed both in the case and closed it.

I then opened and placed my thumb so it was touch both bud touchpads.

Wait until the centre light in the starts flashing on and off with a green light and try and re-pair the device.

Worked first time. Let me know if that helps."

^^^^
These are the instructions I saw in a Ifixit forum and the one which was reacted with positive reviews. But I don't completely understand the instructions could someone explain these instructions to me simply.

Thanks

Put both buds in the case, close the top
Open the case, touch the touch points on both buds at the same time
Wait until the light flashes then try to re-pair to the phone.

Those MAY be instructions for resetting the buds to connect to new devices.
