Android Central Question

i have a Surface Pro with the window 10 calendar app hooked up to my microsoft and gmail accounts. However when i make an addition to the calendar it does not show up on my Nexus calendar app which is google. When i make changes on my phone to the google calendar it shows on my Pro but changes on the Pro do not show on the phone. Therefore how do i sync my W10 calendar with the Nexus?

Thought this would be easy but cant seem to get a straight answer anywhere

Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! I've looked into this before, and I don't believe there's any way to sync your Windows 10 Calendar app with your Google account -- i.e., any event you entered into the Windows 10 Calendar using your Outlook account can't be synced. If you added your Google account to the Windows 10 Calendar and entered events into the Google account there, then they will sync: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-google-calendar-windows-10

If you wanted to move those Windows 10 Calendar events to your Google Calendar, you'd have to be able to export the events into an .ics file, and then import them into your Google Calendar. But the problem is that the Windows 10 Calendar app doesn't have an export option. I think you'd have to use Outlook to export those events to an .ics file. Microsoft broke the sync between Outlook and Android. The way I'm doing it is that I'm using my Google account as my calendar on W10.
