How can I transfer my apps AND DATA to a new Samsung Tab S?

I have tried Samsung Smart-switch and through google and neither restored
the APP DATA.

Smart switch is from Samsung and it says that it is supposed to transfer
from one device to another, such as when you buy a new phone or tablet.
However, it transferred the apps but no data was transferred.

I tried helium again and it still does not work and has not worked for years.
Over the past year since I purchased helium I have tried it on all of my
android devices and at first it worked. At some point it stopped working
on all devices and would not backup to any location.

I tried helium backup to local storage, SD card, Dropbox, google drive and to other
devices. Nothing works.

I just get a generic error like:
"helium encountered and error.
a copy of the error has been sent to clockwork mod"

I have tried for over a year to get an answer from them and they never reply.

I just purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S and wanted to transfer my apps and data. But all I get with helium is the error message above.

Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

Helium hasn't worked for a few Android versions. You won't get any response because CWM no longer exists.

Titanium Backup paid version should work, but the devices have to be rooted.

Ah, that would explain why helium doesn't work.

I can't root most of my devices. I just don't have the time.

What options are there to backup without rooting?

Transferring from Samsung Tab S to a new Tab S

I wish the apps had a backup feature. It would make things much easier
What apps are we talking about here? I mean almost all my apps back themselves up to cloud. Have you checked the app settings if they have a sign in somewhere?

The two main apps are bluemail and armorfly browser. I will eventually switch both of these to others when I find similar replacements.

But I still need to transfer the data for now.

Armorfly does not have an export and bluemail only works on a phone

But BlueMail is just an email client. It has no actual data of its own. Just login to any email client and all your emails and folders will be there.
