How to transfer data from internal storage to SD card.

This was much easier on my other phones. Is there a built in way of doing this or do I need and app to do it. Transferred all my pics to the 10 so need to move all pics to the sd card in one easy step.

You can download a file explorer like ES or Astro and simply move the files to the SD card, or you can plug it into a computer and move them through your computer file explorer.

I use "HTC File Manager", which was what I used before on my M8.
Works great, no ads, nor risk from 3rd parties doin bad stuff.

Starting from scratch, you'd select "Internal Storage" up top, then navigate to the folder(s) you want to move. Select them with the checkbox to the right, then "Move To" at the bottom. The select "Removable Storage" up top and navigate to where you want to move the stuff too. Select "Paste" at the bottom of the screen. Should get a progress screen as stuff is moving.

Pretty nice and simple.

I did try to use ES and ended up plugging into my computer to clean it all up. I ended up with duplicates in both places and the files not where I wanted them. I would recommend just starting with your computer. All you have to do is move the folder with all the pics in it.
