How to transfer media and aps

Helow everybody!

Just converted from iPhone, this thing is bad ass. My first question is I just installed a 32gig sd card and i would like to know how to transfer music and aps to the card instead of using the internal phone memory.

Two ways. First depends upon whether you have a Windows 7 machine as I have heard issues with others getting the correct USB drivers to install.

1. Plug the phone into a USB cable connected to a Windows 7 machine that does not hae Kies installed. You then browse to the phone and you can see the internal memory and the external card. You can now copy away to the external card.

2. The most uniform way I have found is to get WiFi Explorer or Explorer Pro from the Play Store. This allows you to use your browser on your source machine as a file explorer. Different systems put the external microSD card in different places. The SIII puts it in /mnt/extSDCard. Once you have navigated to it then you can put what ever you want in it from your source system. The technique works with Macs/XP/Vista/even iPhones as just about anything with a browser can browse the phone's external microSD card and copy files to and from it.
