How to transfer mp4 videos from my Samsgung Galaxy s3 to PC?

I have transferred photos easily by connecting to PC as a camera device, but when I select 'connect as a Media device' there is no access to phone files on the PC

I've got a s5, but same question. After I connect my phone to my pc, my "Pictures" folder doesn't contain mp4 videos, just still pics. I can't find my videos. They're on my phone, I can watch 'em there, but can't figure out where they are, or what they're called, once I connect to my pc.

i can watch my mp4s on my hone, and can transfer music and still photos back n forth from phone to pc, but can't even find my vids in the folders. They're taking up a lot of space, really gotta unload 'em onto my pc.
