How to turn off 3G/4G

During the day I don't really need "4G" and it's kind of draining my battery fast. Is there a way to switch to GSM like there is on the international version?

We only have "3.5G".. There's no switch because it's only HSPA and HSPA+, basically the same, will detect if the area has "HSPA+" and use that. You can probably disable the data somewhere in the settings.

Take a look at APN On/Off in the market and see if it does what you are wanting. I control all my radios and they are off until I want them on. This app comes with a widget that flips data on and off in a second. Oh, and it's free.
