How to turn off electronic lady's voice announcing incoming text messages??

I found an older thread and the solution was to turn off car mode.

I can't seem to find anything close to that.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Voice Notifications is off, soon as I have any volume it starts again but the setting is off. Is there any app I can freeze?

Hard to say without seeing it. Does this happen for all notifications or just with certain applications?

Just from TXT messages from a certain person, its reading the txt messages (that I have deleted lol... hmm will check that persons txt message setting

Thing is it asks if I want to respond but I'm not getting a popup window to respond. Makes it hard to find what app it is ggrr

Stupid me.. had Ringo Pro: Text & Call Alerts installed, that was giving me the text voice
