How to turn off Google "Add birthday" notifications?

How the heck do I turn off Google "Add birthday" notifications? I am using an older Galaxy Note 3 (Android Version 5.0), which I still love. I have searched and searched but can't seem to turn this nag message off. It's driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's necessary: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1333913?hl=en. It's important to comply with COPPA laws.

Oh, and thank you for whiting out the email address. Actually, the first half of it was already obscured by light, but it's better to have nothing showing. Thanks for your great help................... Dave F.

That actually wasn't me who edited out the address -- one of the other Mods must've ninja'd that stealthily. It was like that when I first saw it!
