How to turn off touch gestures

I have spent countless hours trying to figure out how to turn off touch gestures, and it has been driving me mad. Basically whenever I take my phone out of my pocket it activates some touch gesture and then starts blasting out music, I have looked at other forum posts for this but they all seem to be for a different OS. If anyone could help it would be hugely appreciated.

Settings>Gestures. Slide to the left to turn off, slide to the right to turn on.
