How to unbrick an LS Optimus S

I recently rooted my LS Optimus S using Android SDK toolkit. After 4 attempts, I was able to complete the task. And after I installed busybox and Superuser.apk, I went to do a hot boot using Toolkit, the phone locked up. So I did a hard reset and the phone just sat at the Sprint screen. I ran a bug report and it looks like the VM for Java is having issues. I am at my wits end with what to do.... Any suggests would be helpful.

hot boot? Toolkit? Are you sure u didnt use ROM MANAGER ? Please give more info

We should start tracking how many bricks happen with rom manager.

Dont know if you tried this or not but this worked for me recently. the ONLY change would be to go to the KP500 page and download the VD software and replace it with V9 (V9 doesnt work with the LCD screen)
