How to uninstall app update?

My cousin has a note 3 and, like a lot of people, she doesn't like the new Facebook update. Is there any way to uninstall the app update? I have an HTC one m8 and I tried to show her how to do it based off my phone, but she doesn't seem to have the option. Can anyone help me out? Maybe post some screenshots (she isn't very tech smart)? Thanks in advance!

The question was how to Uninstall the "update", not the app itself. I don't see any way of doing that.

Yes. I don't have Facebook but unless it's an app that allows uninstall of updates I didn't think its possible. But you say you can on HTC.

Yea I can uninstall updates for apps that came pre-installed on my m8. I just assumed this was normal for all phones. I guess not

Yes, that can only be done with pre-installed apps that can't be uninstalled.
