how to uninstall apps

Anyone know how to get rid of apps from the play store once installed. There are many I do not use and want to get rid of them. I found this link at cnet, but it appears to be old and what he says does not work. Any ideas??? Thanks

are u trying to a) uninstall app from your phone or b) delete install history which you installed before but no longer on the phone?

the tutorial is for b).

b. I know how to uninstall apps from my phone. Its the history that I am after. And what he says in the video does not work, at least not for me. Maybe Google has changed this.
