I had a James with no last name as a gmail contact.
I had a James McCloud with a last name. I was adding an unknown number to James M, but he wasn't in my contacts. I happened to look into James with no last name and that associated that phone number with James no last name.
Ok easy to fix that, I just went in and deleted it out of numbers. But when my outlook contact for James M added into my address book on the phone, it combined the two of them into the same record.
Now I cannot get them from being intermingled..
