How to unlock Samsung S22+ that is locked to T-Mobile

I paid cash for it on ebay Nov 14, 2022; activated it on T-Mobile Dec 3, 2022. T-Mobile won't unlock it.

Seller may still owe money on it. If it's not to late try to get in contact with them. Possibly return it.

If it's locked to T-Mobile, and you are using it on T-Mobile, what's the problem?

Perhaps a better explaination of what you are trying to achieve would help.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm guessing you mean that you took the phone to T-Mobile to activate, and they told you it's carrier-locked to some other carrier. You'd need to figure out which carrier that is, and then speak to them about seeing if they will unlock the phone for you. They are under no obligation to do so if the phone doesn't meet their unlock criteria. For example, as mentioned above, the original owner might have willfully stopped making payments on the phone (which is tantamount to stealing it).

It's probably better to contact the seller through eBay and let them know the problem. If it's a legit seller, they will either work with you on this, or accept a return. If they ghost you, or flat out refuse, and if there was nothing in the listing warning buyers that the phone was locked to a carrier, then go through eBay's dispute resolution. eBay tends to protect the buyer much more than the seller.
