How to update Gear App?

Two days ago, my Samsung Galaxy s5 downloaded a rather large software update. Had no problems.
However, I'm reading on this forum that there is a Gear 2 Neo update. How do I check for it?

However, I'm reading on this forum that there is a Gear 2 Neo update. How do I check for it?

To update Gear 2 Neo firmware:
Samsung Gear>(top icon, if you've renamed your watch, it will be the name that you gave it)Gear 2 Neo>Software Update>Update Now

To update the Samsung Gear app itself:
Galaxy Apps>"Menu button" (3 lines in top left corner)>Purchased. Any Samsung apps needing updating should be listed there.
