I wanted to add the ICS wallpapers to my phone. With the wallpapers being in a zip format, I downloaded and extracted the zip file to my computer. I then connected my phone to the computer and browsed the folders on the phone. I don't see where the existing wallpapers are saved.

I am having problems viewing the forums on my phone after I login. Do I have to download the zip file on my phone and extract on the phone?

What folder did you place them in when you transferred them over? Also are you going to the phones gallery to view them? You wont find them with the rest of the phones system wallpapers. You need to access them from the Gallery.
Apps.. Gallery.. Select Image.. Menu.. Set as.. Wallpaper. Drag the cropping box from the corners to make the selection larger... Save.

Also.. if you don't have a file manager app.. get one. "Astro File Manager" is good and its free in the Android Market. You should be able to locate the wallpapers from that app.

In addition to what Cyber Warrior said, the stock wallpapers are located inside of the Launcher itself so you won't find them and can only get to them by extracting the TWLauncher.apk from the device or ROM (if rooted) and then extract them out of the launcher itself.

B4 you ask you can't add images to the launcher either. Wallpapers can only be added as Cyber instructed

I never liked the way you HAVE to crop the photos in android. I downloaded Dodol Wallpaper Creator from the market. With it, you can create full image wallpaper without cropping and save your wallpaper to the app. Changing your wallpaper is as easy as opening your app and choosing the wallpaper.
