How to use custom keyboard apps with physical bluetooth keyboard?

I have a Samsung Tab 3 tablet, I also acquired a physical bluetooth keyboard for it. When I try to use custom keyboards it says that I must switch back to Samsung keyboard to use the physical keyboard. Are there any workarounds?

Only if you find custom keyboard that works with Bluetooth keyboards. It depends on how the keyboard app was written. The only "workaround" is to decompile the keyboard app, rewrite it and recompile it. (Which is illegal in most countries, and not a job many experienced programmers would like to take on.)
