Hi,

I just got my new MAXX HD. I am using TouchDown app to get email from our work's echange server. WHen I get an email that has an attachment, I tap on the attachment to open/view it...and it says "downloading." It doesn't open it up so that I can view it. Further, I can't find where it's downloading. I look in the "Downloads" section and there is nothing there. Is there a way to make this just open the file so that i can view it without having to download and then go open a download somewhere? I was able to do this with my BB and I assumed it would be as good/better with this?

Thanks for your help!

I don't know how touchdown works, but in some other apps after the download go to the notification pane and then tap on the notification that the document has been downloaded.

I had the same issue with Touchdown. Also it doesn't handle meeting invites well. Now I am using MobiMail, when you click on an attachment it gives you the option of Open or Save. I prefer it over Touchdown and it's only five bucks.
