How to wipe words from user dictionary??

I have words auto showing up that are errors and not in my user dictionary, I believe they are from a previous back up or nandroid.

Since they don't show up, what can I do to get rid of them?

Words like Ne come up instead of Me, and cone comes up instead of come.

It's irritating!

I need to find a,way to delete these words that are coming up but aren't listed in the dictionary.

Long press doesn't delete the words for me. I have to keep hitting backspace till the word is gone then save. But this got me where I needed to be. Thanks!

Cone is a real word, and ne is the common abbreviation for north east. That may be why you cant get rid of those 2.

They are typos I had before a back up, I .know this, now after the back up the old dictionary didn't merge with the new dictionary physically, BUT, they are showing up while txting like they are in the dictionary but they aren't, so they did merge, it just doesn't show them.

Do you understand what I'm saying?

i hit the backspace in the dictionary and then ok and it deletes. i think I tried the long press at one time and didnt work.
