How Well is Your Watch Holding Up?

I've had my 42mm for 6 months now and it seriously looks good as new.

Same. The bezel and screen are still free of scratches. As to performance, speed and battery life are the same as they were out of the box. Really it's better than day one, since issues like the HRM and deep sleep tracking were improved by software updates.

Same here, but for me with the addition of a Ringke Bezel Styling. The watch is immaculate and is performing flawlessly. One of the best pieces of tech I've ever owned (and there have been quite a few good ones!)

I only purchased mine at the end of March and love it, I've banged it a few times, just silly things like on a door frame whilst carrying things etc but it's still immaculate!
I put a tempered glass screen protector on and to me it looks better with it on also.

100% with you on this. I want my watch to remain like new as long as I can, and with the Ringke (although not cheap) at least I have the comfort of mind knowing that I can replace it and make the watch look like new again. Let's face it, unless you're extremely rough, the bezel is likely the main area to get scratched and it will really show against the black finish.

I had the Gear S2 (3G) and got a couple scratches on the bezel. One that happened, I couldn't take my eyes off them and there was no practical way to fix.

Totally agree. That's the additional benefit of the Ringke, ie it protects the original bezel which is the most likely thing to get scratched on the watch. Before I had the Ringke, one day, I noticed a fairly large white mark across the black bezel and my heart sank. Luckily it turned out to be toothpaste; glad it won't be happening for real, now!

Love the watch and even after a couple of bumps no scratches etc. I too use a tempered screen cover.

The bezel and glass protectors appear to be unnecessary to me.
I wish that I did have a Bezel protector on mine. I wear my watch constantly & I guess even when I shouldn't (yard work, etc.). Last week I banged my screen & didn't even know that I had. So happy that I had a glass screen protector on it. I know now I should have had protection on the Bezel & watch body too.
Lots of scuffs on my watch but I still really love it.

My gold gear 2 losing the gold plate but the steel gear 2 looks great. Just has some scratches on the buckle. Work fine with my Note 9... still take pics and vids and ir blaster still works great.

Well its been 3 months now and so far so good. Battery lasts around 4-5 days. I can say that the watch is performing Great if we ignore the continuous HR issues 😡 like heart rate freezing and false step counter. Samsung is still doing the "Duck" 🦆 ignoring thousands of complaints and endless forum angry discussions. Personally I lost any faith that this will be resolved.
So...I put a tempered glass for protection and also this black red bezel for styling which is much cheaper than the Ringke one. I kinda like this colour combination more than the silver bezel one.

Not sure what you're talking about.

Guess I missed that thread.
