Hows Att so called "4g" working for you ?

Lol so art might as well have kept the 3g name because if that's 4g I want no part of it my upload speeds on VZW are faster

1.83 down and 0.33 upload In San Antonio Texas. My iPhone 4 was faster and it didn't have so called 4G.

Yes it did the iphone was has supported hsdpa since the 3gs and got hspua with the 4 the same tech used in this only difference would be if this had support for higher speeds which I doubt
Edit
Unless im mistaken Att is only using hspa 7.2 which the iphone has supported now if their using 14.4 then they really need to upgrade their backhall before renaming it 4g

iPhone 4 is hspa 7.2. AT&T quasi 4g is 14.4. The backhaul is still only deployed in a few areas. Hsupa is disabled by AT&T on the "4g" android devices while it is not disabled on the iPhone.

Same as the 3G connection, not much different. Although my area in Raleigh, its good signal out here so I have no problems really.

last night I ran tests on the 3g speed on N1 and 4G on my Atrix, deff faster but upload was capped.

Just now I ran tests with my wifes iPbone 4 and my Atrix right next to each other on speedtest on the same server and got

iphone 4
0.43 down and 1.0 up

Atrix
1.97 down and 0.33 up

down here in fayetteville getting constant 3-3.50 my upload has been .30-.80 but i must say i am getting faster speeds then i ever got on my iphone upload on the iphone sometimes i got 1.25 but i could careless about that on a phone

I see no speed differences here in NJ over my old 3g phone.
=(

But the phone is awesome...!! =)

It's amazing how easily you people feed the trolls here. A guy with *1* post (meaning his first and only was this topic) asks a sarcastic question to demean the Atrix...and you all buy in and answer honestly.

Whether OP was trolling for reactions or not, it's a valid question for a new device. This kind of information is important to me when deciding whether to get the Atrix or jump ship for the Bionic when it comes out.

very disappointed

I don't understand how AT&T can try to claim these phones are 4G, but not even enable HSUPA, I installed a custom rom on my AT&T captivate, which enables hsupa and get better speeds than mentioned in this forum so far frequently hitting 3.5 down and 1.5 up my max down was a little over 4

Didn't run a speed test because I was just mucking around in the AT&T store, but my iPhone 4 was faster loading the pages on all five websites I tried in Dallas. I was sure to choose sites that I did not have cached in my Safari and tried to avoid sights with flash or other rendering. Atrix is a sweet phone, but they really need to either flip the switch or stop calling it 4G.

My 3G network iPhone 4 is twice as fast as my Inspire I had or this Atrix
