how's the battery life

Thinking of a honor 9 anyone know what the battery life is like. Only a light user, no games, coming from a Moto X-Play, which is good regarding battery. Comments please.

Android Authority got 3-4 hours on screen time. But they said if youre a light user, it'll get you full day of battery.

I'm a light user and still have 40% or so left at the end of the day. It charges quickly, even using a third party charger.
Compares to just about managing a day on my old Galaxy S5.

Really? I get no where near a full day, talking about heavy days with 10-15 SOT

Well my SOT is usually just over 5 hours a day (it was better before the last update). And I go to bed with about 15-20% juice left in the tank. I feel like if you're getting 10-15 SOT, that's more than enough for 2 days. At least for me.

It's pretty tough to get a full day out of the Honor 8 with heavy use. I needed to adjust the battery settings and get into ultra power saving mode to make it happen.

Well my SOT is usually just over 5 hours a day (it was better before the last update). And I go to bed with about 15-20% juice left in the tank. I feel like if you're getting 10-15 SOT, that's more than enough for 2 days. At least for me.

Ok that's about what I get on my honor 8 . It is a solid number. But not enough for my really heavy days

Nah, I like thin cases. Feels better on the hands and easier to put in my pockets. I'm fine with battery packs

Oh i definitely agree. Just that it's an option if you aren't near a charger but need to be on the go, where A battery pack wouldn't be convenient

Yeah it's really thick. But if you need to charge mid shift and you are constantly on the go then it could be worth it
