How's the Notch and Large Chin on Pixel 3 XL?

Let's be real, we want our phone to look aesthetically good, decent or even pleasing to our sight. But I wanna know the reason why Google stayed with their ridiculous idea of putting a NOTCH whilst its CHIN remains large?

Definitely not a big deal. Stuff like this is always blown out of proportion. It's trendy to get sensitive over nothing nowadays! I was at Best Buy and almost bought one! Would've required me to go broke to do so haha.
