In the last couple of weeks of using the Epic I have noticed times when the signal momentarily cuts-off during a conversation. This is not common but have noticed it a few times more since the last update.
To be clear, I have no problems with call quality or reception while on the headset, this ONLY happens when the call is routed through a BT, be it any of my cars (Lexus 2009, MB 2010) or other BT headsets (Sony DR-BT22, Moto S9HD, Jawbone).
The loss of signal is momentary, enough for the other party to mention reception breaking up, but has never dropped a call. I don't experience any breakup on my end, only seems to affect the other party. This is happening on an area with strong Sprint signal, where neither the Evo nor any of my prior phones has experinced any recurrent call problem.
At first, I thought of this as an occasional bad connection, but is happening often enough not be coincidental anymore. During this time, I have factory reset my Epic twice (for other reasons), the PRL is up to date, however this should not affect performance in-network as I understand.
Are any of you seeing any similar behavior?
