HTC 10 for Sprint

Re: Sprint M10

Does anyone have any inside info on when Sprint will get M10 at stores

No inside info, but I saw the Sprint press release saying they will sell it, and how great it is...... I can't wait. I'm eligible for my upgrade May 1st :)

Re: Sprint M10

Verizon has an exclusive on it. In the past when that has happened its usually 2-4 weeks after the first carrier that has it till the others get it.

Does anyone know for sure?

Is this phone going to be released on the Sprint network? I just called HTC and couldnt get a straight answer....No reason to buy accessories if I can't use the phone on my Sprint account.....HJ

Re: Does anyone know for sure?

Mod note: Merged multiple threads about Sprint availability into one thread.

This is the best info I could compile about Sprint availability over the last couple of days. Sprint has really been hiding behind their initial press release and been very tight lipped about availability.

Sprint will NOT be doing pre-orders due to a very tight launch window. Apparently that Verizon exclusive leaves very little time for that.

The phone will launch in limited availability in stores, online and telesales on Friday 5/13/2016 and not any sooner. LImited availability referring to only the Glacial Silver version being available "at launch" directly from Sprint. No word on whether HTC will offer other color options directly on their site.

In regards to Sprint users being left out in the cold when it comes to the promo codes that were sent out earlier for pre-order. I did get this tidbit from HTC via twitter:

So I managed to get additional information:
  • Full Retail price will be: $624.00 through Sprint.com/Telesales
  • Customers purchasing the new HTC 10 on 24 month installment billing will receive an instant $120 discount.
[*]Discount is to be applied as 24 monthly bill credits of $5 totaling $120 bringing the price down to $504.00
[*]Prime customers will pay $21/month for 24 monthly installments
[*]The above pricing and offer is available only if you place your order online or with telesales.
  • Some customers may qualify for a $10.00 Lease Loyalty Credit on Lease Plans
  • Confirmation of Glacier Silver only at launch.
  • $30.00 upgrade fee is waived for online orders

I got my HTC 10 at the store today. It launches in the morning but they let me have it a day early. Since I got it in store I did pay the $30.00 activation fee. I was eligible for an upgrade and I paid $624.00 for the phone. It is only available for purchase or installment purchase. No leasing. I paid the taxes for the phone and the $30.00 activation fee. My taxes were $51.48. They could be different depending on your location as we have a town center improvement tax to pay as well. The installment payment will be $26.00 a month for 24 months. Sprint does offer the option to pay an additional $10.00 a month to upgrade after 12 months time. With this option if you do upgrade you turn in the phone for the upgrade. I did not chose this option.
The store only had one screen protector and no covers. So I had nothing to chose from. I ordered the ice view case from the HTC website today but as we know they are not in stock yet.
I love this phone! My M8 was great but it really was time for an upgrade and this 10 is an awesome looking phone and it feels great in my hand. I really hate having to put a cover on it.
Colors are silver and black. I was hoping Sprint would have red like the Evo.
Hope this helps.
